I honestly love light gun games more then any other genre out there and more then most people out there. There just so much fun and have so much replay value! Here are a list of light gun games i want ported to the Wii. Lost World: Jurassic Park Jurassic Park 3 Silent Hill The Arcade Area 51 site A Area 51 site B CarnEvil HOUSE OF THE DEAD 4!!!! Star trek Voyager Vampire Night Dino Stalker Resident Evil Survivor 2: Code Veronica Aliens: Extermination I believe those are the top of the line Light gun games which deserve a proper port to the Wii. The wii, for a console made with and for light gun mechanics, it's got a shockingly low amount of light gun games FOR it. No matter what era, no matter what kinds of graphics, and no matter what game, light gun games ALWAYS work. There just... You can make any game into a light gun game, and what makes them even funner, is the different paths that can be taken in some of them. I believe that light gun games will NEVER get old, you can litterally play over 20 hours for them and still come back for more! And they'll always carry a strong sense of nostalgia with them. Games i think that SHOULD be made into light gun games: Halo Half Life 2 Far Cry Return to Castle Wolfenstein Turok Too Human Doom 3 (im surprised they haven't even thought of this yet) Quake 4 Honestly, i've atleast donated 100+ hours into light gun gaming within the past.... 5 or 6 years. I love it, it's what i live on, there made to entertain and there just pure fun to play. And every single one is coop, some are even 4 player! I couldn't imagine my life WITHOUT light gun gaming in it and this idea needs to be explored more with more creative thought put into it. The latest light gun game that i had a blast playing (no pun intended), was Aliens: Extermination, it was fast paced, gorey (on the alien side), one of the better Light gun games from the franchise, and above all, INSANELY FUN! If you put me in a room for 2 years... With nothing but, enough food to live on, a bed, a computer, and a TV (for both PC and console light gun gaming) with 10 of my favorite light gun games... I would honestly be satisfied.

Light GunNintendo_Zapper_orange.jpg Nintendo Wii opens up for these games again, and I agree. wonder why they haven't made the games you listed (house of the dead especially) to the wii.

I recently got Wild West Guns on WiiWare. Not bad, though 1000 Wii points was slightly more than I would have liked to pay (800 is more reasonable).

But yeah, light gun games are great fun, and I'd love to see more of them. I've been meaning to buy RE: Umbrella Chronicles for ages now.

RE: UC is a great light gun game, incredible length for a light gun game too(if your going to try and unlock every little thing expect atleast 25 hours of gameplay), it's got great diversity, it has different pathways that can be taken, and boss fights are challenging. Although House of the dead 2 & 3 returns would also be worth a buy, i guess it's more for fans of light gun gaming but i mean, on release it only cost 30$, so who knows how cheap it is now. I just fealt that i had an overall funner time playing HOTD 2 & 3 return more so then RE:UC, i think it was because of all the gore in it though that i missed which RE:UC barely had any of, and the more kinds of diverse pathways that can be taken. But yea, if you see HOTD 2 & 3 return for like 5 or 10 bucks, i would definately recommend getting it as it's light gun gaming at it's best, but if you see RE:UC hovering around the same price, or mabye at 15, i would recommend getting that.

I wouldn't pay less than US$50 for it new, but then Americans have no idea of the price markups on games in the rest of the world =p
