Hello guys, I'm looking for a nice FPS game, a tactical one, that is a bit like Republic Commando. So you can give commands to your squad, and stuff. t would be nice if it runned on: 1.6 GHz, 512 ram, GeForce FX5200. So, obviously, for PC.

Any good ones?

what about brothers in arms? Dunno if it's on the PC or not but I'm pretty sure it's on the big consoles. Great game. Control multiple squads and it's not like COD where you are like the super soldier of the world

You're not the super soldier of the world in CoD once you stop playing on the beginner's level :p (nah, just messin' with ya)

+1 COD is often times very hard when you play on the hardest difficulty level. I'd give the first COD and COD2 a stab with that hardware you've got.

Brothers in Arms is probably the most ideal tactical FPS. The first game and its sequel are on PC. I'm not entirely sure, but I think the third game (Hell's Highway) is also on PC.

ArmA or OFP for the win, plenty of mods and plenty of content out there to feed your tactical addiction. Just be warned, 1 shot to the chest = dead.

SWAT 3 and 4 are great games, and you can issue so many different commands to your squadmates that it can get confusing at times. It's realistic too, though not as merciless as OFP. One of the most unusual things about it is that you do better if you don't kill anybody, and you can actually lose if you kill too many people - including suspects. So you get to play around with non-lethal weapons a bit also. I took a sick, sadistic pleasure in repeatedly pepper-spraying and Tasering innocent hostages and civilians.

But it's not going to run (or even installs for that matter) on his hardware: [QUOTE=Arendos;4882540]t would be nice if it runned on: 1.6 GHz, 512 ram, GeForce FX5200.

Should try some older Rainbow6 serie titles released around 2000-2007.

He doesn't quite meet the recommended requirements, but he should be able to play the games. My box of BiA Road to Hill 30 says:

Spoiler: Show
Processor: 1 GHz Pentium III or AMD Athlon (2.5 is recommended) RAM: 256 MB (1 GB recommended) Video Card: 32 MB Supported Video Cards: NVIDIA GeForce 3/4/FX/6 series (GeForce 4 MX not supported)
