Does anybody know how to enable cheats on this game? I've got a list of the cheat codes, but I'm stuck on trying to enable them in the game. If you know how, please reply! :)

To gain access to the cheats edit the game shortcut so it reads the following: ''C:\Maxpayne.exe -developer'' From within the game, you are then able to bring up the console using the F12 key

Gamefaqs ftw!

Do you mean edit the name of the shortcut to this? ''C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Maxpayne2.exe -developer'' I'm confused on what you mean. I'm not sure what to edit.

Edit: Sorry for not being clear, I'm using Max Payne 2.

He means you have to right click the shortcut, click Properties, and change the Target line to ''C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Maxpayne2.exe -developer'' (assuming that's the directory where you have your game installed).

It doesn't work. I put this in the target link field for the shortcut: "C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Max Payne 2\MaxPayne2 -developer.exe" When I click Apply, it says "The name 'C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Max Payne 2\MaxPayne2 -developer.exe' specified in the target box is not valid. Make sure the path and file name are correct. Edit: I made a mistake before and I correct it to this: "C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Max Payne 2\MaxPayne2.exe -developer" Yet is still doesn't work.

Is that where you have Max Payne installed? Did you try it both with and without the quotes on the ends?

Try putting the -developer bit outside the quotes.

Ok, I tried putting the -developer outside the quotes like this: "C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Max Payne 2\MaxPayne2.exe" -developer Still no success. I am 100% positive that it is the correct directory. Edit: It won't let me take away the quotes.
