I've never played Splinter Cell so I'll say MGs, I've played all 3 (and the first two) oh and also I once watched a show called Metal Gear, though it was about robot fighting tournaments

I can't really compare them, Splinter Cell is a lot more technical, its got a lot of cool moves, but lacks purpose, storyline and clear cut, fun gameplay.

No, the first one was avaliable on PC after a while too, they released another one after with the VR expansion missions too.

I know that MGS is for a fact, MGS2 is the one I'm not sure about.
