Do yourself a favor, if your PC can run it, get it for PC, superior version by far.

That's why I rarely be PC games anymore, I have a medium-end 2006 computer, not a high-end 2010 one, which is required for like everything now.

Metro 2033 looks amazing on PC. It takes a real beast of a system to run it well though.

If you game a good bit, a PC is a better investment.

You need a PC to check e-mail, write papers, ect. A PC to do just that at a reasonable speed will set a person back $400-500. A quality gaming PC can be had today for $1000-1200. When you take out $500 for just having a PC the gaming part comes out to be $500-700. At launch a new console is $500. If you want to play both xbox and PS3 exclusives you need to spend $1000 on consoles.

PC games are usually $10 cheaper than console games. If you are smart steam offers some amazing deals on PC games that can't be had in a retail store or online. Buy 10 games a year and you save $100 over buying 10 console games. After 3 years you saved $300 which can be spent on a new video card and more ram.

Looks like a cross between S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and Fallout 3, both of which I love. I'll have to look into getting the game.

I love Steam. Its the best place to buy games these days IMO. I got Borderlands with all the DLC for half price, the STALKER series for half price, Left 4 Dead series with the new DLC for $20, Company of Heroes pack for less than half price, ect...

They have Modern Warfare 2 on sale right now for $40. I might buy it as well.

I actually might break my rule of staying away from Shooters. the game seems to have enough Fantasy elements to keep me entertained. I just hope there some decent story line to support it. (one of the other reasons I steer clear of most shooters)

It's more of a roller coaster then a theme park, IE less freedom but more thrilling in my opinion, It's a great game though.
