What is the most realistic Game/Mod that you have played, ever. The most realistic game I myself have played is either Lock-On Modern Combat or whatever its called, and Americas Army. I'm not that good at them, but they're the most realistic ones I've played. EDIT:Thanks for the move, I just realized I put it in the wrong forum :sillyme:
I would die without GF

I most realistic game I've played is probably Operation Flashpoint and/or Brothers in Arms. Flashpoint simlulated some of the most authentic-feeling rural combat I've ever experienced.
Oh yeah, I forgot all about Flashpoint. I used to play that game all the time a while back, and I kinda forgot that it sorta played a bit like BF1942, a game that I now can't pry myself away from.
Soldier of Fortune 2: Gold Edition and some other real-time war game who's name escapes me right now are the only 2 'realistic' games I've played so far!
Red Orchestra mod for UT2004 was pretty realistic..
Hmm. EVE Online is the most realistic space-ship game I've played so far. When I say realistic, I mean your ship get's blown up by some ganker. And you loose your ship and everything on it/installed in it. Which means you better have it insured or have a couple of ships ready when that does happen. On EVE, instead of people having "clans" or "guilds", it's corporations. And many corporations can form alliances. Corporations can declare war on each other, as well as allainces can declare war on each other. Alliances can obtain certain areas of universe. In that being one alliance can control some constellations or even a whole region (maybe, but doubtful) if they had the man-power to do so. The EVE universe is huge. If anybody has ever played Earth And Beyond will exactly know what I'm talking about. As well as anybody that has played EVE here. Let me drawn a picture for you: Your ship is docked at a station. Which is in one whole solar system, not just one sector of a solar system. And there can be multiple stations in one system. But the majority of the systems in EVE don't have stations to dock at; just to make it harder. Ok, so you have one solar system. That one solar system can be grouped with others to make up one constellation. A group of constellations make up one region. And in EVE, there's like at least 50 regions (that's in the ballpark, I think, not completely accurate) or so. So you end up with over 5000 systems to roam around in. It's that huge. But you don't want to roam around too much, because different alliance own different places. So you might get shot down if that alliance isn't friendly with the alliance you're in. That's how realistic that I know of. As for being realistic graphics wise: Halo 2 or Killzone possibly are the most realistic that I know of. For console games that is. Not computer games. :) But I see graphics for XBox 360 and it looks really good. But I'm also hoping PS3 comes out strong. I'm a fan of Playstation. :) But my PS2 broke, so I'm a little sad right now. Even though I have an Xbox; which my little brother plays A LOT more than me. That being because I have my computer to play with. :)
Yep, Operation Flashpoint, those were the days...
I just found out they're making Operation Flashpoint 2, due Spring 2006, cant wait already.:naughty:
