Over the years, I've heard a few people say they get motion sickness from playing certain games. I thought it was a bit weird....until yesterday I got it for the first time playing HalfLife. Anyone else get it?
Nope , never got motion sickness from a game ...yet.
I've never had the honor, no.
The cake is a lie. There is no cake.

It's an odd thing to occur. I could maybe understand it with a portable one (laptop, handheld), but on on a desktop. Again, can't say I've had the pleasure. Do you know why it happens? A particular trigger?
Halo brought me on. I was sitting at my desk, playing halo, and a glitch happened where my character starts spinning in circles and I cant stop it. Same thing happened on Call of Duty on my PS2...I think my games don't like me.
I don't know if this counts, but here goes; I don't ever get motion sickness while playing computer games, however I can get nauseated when playing my Nintendo DS while I'm in a car. I don't get car-sick, even when I'm reading, but for some reason my stomach hurts when playing video games in a car.
I've had the pleasure of getting dizzy and overall lightheaded only once from my computer. I was on NewGrounds viewing some flash with alotta flashing bright colors and fast action, lotta moving. I spaced and didn't concentrate on the screen, although the flash filled it up. I got all dizzy and lightheaded and turned my monitor off for fear of a seizure.
You know, you'd only get a seizure (theoretically) if you were epileptic :p
^^ Watch out there, don't wanna foam at the mouth. I've never been even vaguely bothered by games that spin a lot, but I know other people who've seen me do stuff like that say they get dizzy. In SWG there was an option to disable the screen from shaking so apparently it is a big enough problem for some people to make it an option.
No, I don't really get motion sickness, in games or in real life (I don't count playing games as real life even if my sitting here in front of it IS real :p). The only thing mine do is turn my eyes BRIGHT red and incredibly bloodshot, which makes me look like a Sith or something from Starcraft (which was interesting because it would always happen while I was playing Starcraft too :p)
