Hi everyone, I recently bought Dark Messiah off Steam (Foolish of me not to buy the retail version, but alas.) and, although I'm very happy with it, I've got several issues with the game. Namely: Singleplayer: Whenever I use a 'magic' weapon (e.g. Poison Kriss, Dragonclaw Sword, Staff of the Firelord, Lightning Shield), my screen gets covered in a partially transparent pink and black checkerboard. Depending on the 'intensity' of the glowyness (the more graphical effects it has), the less transparent the checkboard is. Multiplayer: I can't the vast majority of the objects in the maps (e.g. city gates, gratings in the floor, the siege towers, other players..) and my own model doesn't seem to work either, as I can't see my hand or the spells/attacks I cast/do. It's extremely annoying, as one of the main things I was looking forward to in DM was the multiplayer. I hope someone's got a fix for this ^_^ Thanks a ton in advance...

IMO the MP is pretty awful anyway, but yes. You basically need to turn down your graphics settings and update your drivers.

I've tried turning down my graphics settings to Medium (and low afterwards), and unfortunately all that happens is the colors on every model just go totally insane (rainbows jetting out from everything). Don't get me wrong, I love rainbows, but I'd rather play the game. Ah well...thanks for the help anyway :)
