I'm just looking at the metacritic and gamerankings percentages, it hits about 70-80 overall.
Mediocore to good. I woulden't pick it up if it came out for the PC. Then again, I did buy The Witcher and loved it.

I wouldn't base your entire opinion on a metacritic score, since it throws in ALL reviews from ALL sites and company's, including the crappy ones that wouldn't recognize a video game from a 2x4. Besides, more then half the time they underscore good titles.
All the good sites get mixed in, so it evens out to a good rating to give a game.

WOW, i just finished looking at lots of reviews from places i "thought" i could trust for second opinions and out of about 6 companys, only one gave it a very positive score (8.8), was game informer (THANK GOD, atleast they haven't turned into tasteless, nit picking, ranting, idiots in a cess pool of ignorance). This game, if you take the time to admire and look into it, is a greatly satisfying game, controls bad? No, they probably just completely suck at the game and didn't take the time get a feel for the controls, i mean, yea it's "Hard" per-se, but the controls have nothing to do with it, the camera, alright, i'll give them that, but they shouldnt be that hard on it since THEY are the ones controlling it, so more likely THEY suck at controlling the camera. (and i am now better at controlling it :) ) Alot of the reviews seemed to just churn into mindless dribble that only a person with slight retardation would recommend as an "accurate" review. I don't mean to get into a tantrum but i'm serious, WHAT ARE THEY THINKING?! X360 Magezine UK "The combat is fun and visually rewarding, if a little glitchy, but at the end of the day it's Star Wars, you probably already know if you're going to enjoy this game." I've not come across one glitch, if anything the AI is, very rarely might i add, "Quirky", but nothing "Glitchy". I probably know if i'm going to enjoy this game? I thought it was just going to be a quick run through as a jedi weilding a light saber with some thrown in story and abunch of impressive physics and nothing more, i was DEAD wrong and i love it. IGN "Uninspired level design and some tedious enemy battles mar an experience that gives you power over the Force like we've never really seen before. While it's far from perfect, Star Wars fans will find that it's worth playing through simply for its story and the ability to use the Force in fairly awesome ways." Tedious enemy battles? Yes, because using the environment to overcome enemies trying to kill you is "Tedious", if you consider fighting tedious i wonder what you consider playing a game at all? Uninspired level design? There are an overwhelming amount of great physics related puzzle sets throughout the game which, you may not have to think to hugely about it, but using the force to solve them is quite fun, aswell as having some unique fighting areas such as in the tie fighter factory ship where you can break the windows having all the enemies get sucked out into space then having a metal shielding plate close. GameTrailers "It initially delivers on its promise, but it erodes over time due to the monotony and meager difficulty that discourages exploring the combat’s complexity. " I honestly think he's just being picky, hard you say, well as i recall, Diablo 2 was hard as hell, and that game got amazing reviews, a good challenge never hurt anyone, just TRY. The combat is also NOT that complex, especially since, when blocking, it TELLS you the powers you can do in the lower left hand corner (A, B, X, or Y), and you can also just quickly go in and check what powers you have and how to use them with an explanation of what the outcome will be. I'm sure the game isn't a grade A game that's 10/10, but it sure as hell deserves alot more then a measley 7.2/10 rating, it's definately a modest B grade game, and 9.2/10 at the very most. I don't care about how innovative it is either, games don't need to be innovative to be fun.
Measley 7.2? Thats good. Not measley.
Diablo 2 got an 88. That isn't amazing in any right.

An 88 is pretty amazing on Metacritic, since alot of games don't even make it out of the 7 category. 7.2 is pretty measley, 9 category, buy, 8 category, buy, 7 category, rent, 6 category, don't even bother. Although first i rate the games in my head then go to a review site for a second opinion to help form my understanding of the game, but, well, i can see now that the vast majority of reviewers (basicaly anyone who rated it below a solid 8.0) are not trust worthy and are completely and utterly terrible at telling a good game from a bad game. The game truly is "Fun" in all ways, from manipulation, to combat, to physics, to graphics, it effectively combines all those elements (including AI) into a delicious stew worth going in for seconds, and with THIS much manipulation and dynamic gameplay, it can make for some possibly remarkable replay value. If a game doesn't have good replay value (such as the ability to choose to replay levels or very dynamic gameplay) then i won't even bother with it. But this game, this game has exceedingly large amounts of replay value because of all the ways you can kill people and player customization, with different customizeable light saber colors and bonus light saber abilities too, now i only hope that you get all of these things when replaying the levels in the game.
I've seen 1UP and a few others rate every single game they've laid their hands for a month a 70.

I don't know, about a 7.6 and below tells me "Average, borrow it from a friend that's done with it, or if your completely bored of everything, go buy it, but don't rush to get it"
That's what that tells me, 8 tells me its worth the buy, and a 9 tells me get off your ass right now and go buy it.
mainly though, I think the reason it got those ratings, was the hype, it had two years for the hype to build up, so naturally it was going to dissappoint someone, what I did was never even looked at the trailers, so as to not be dissappointed by whatever came out, I just looked for the release date, and went from there
>Omen<;4584066The Wii is just for exercise so you don't get too lazy. With your Cross Country though, you're already getting plenty of that, at least in the fall anyway.
i got a wii because i have been with nintendo for a long time. but there lack of things that intrest me and my local store lacking anything good for the wii. makes it useless to me.
