Why does it seem like all there games, specificaly RE:UC, RE4, and the REmake, all look like they have a case of the jaggies, of all the RE games for the gamecube i think the only one with good anti aliasing was RE Zero, and even than i could still see a slight pressence of jaggies... I'm sorry, but it seems like the nintendo system isn't too well optimized for AA, as i now look back on some other games it seems like they had ltos of jaggies too, i mean for instance look at Zelda: Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime corruption... I could go on with a list but it seems that the RE games for it, stand out the most in terms of jaggieness, i mean, come on, look at this picture. bhuc0012.jpg If this were on any other platform all those jaggies would be dealt with, along with the poor sub standard lighting.

Then again, Nintendo don't care about graphics.

As far as I can remember, and this is going a long time back seeing as my family owned a NES when I was born, Nintendo have always focused on gameplay over anything else. It was Nintendo who invented the rumble pack, the first console-only lightgun, and motion-sensitive controllers. Its their aim to bring classic games like Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles, Zelda: Twilight Princess and Mario Galaxy and show us new and exciting ways to play these 'golden oldies' and even then you can't deny that Galaxy looks beautiful.

You're just a graphics whore.

It could be due to performance or the engines used or something. You have to remember that even some games on 360/PS3/PC are not capable of enabling AA either. For one... running HDR in Oblivion meant that you could not enable AA on Nvidia Cards. And most titles using Unreal Engine 3.0 are incapable of running AA unless you have a DX10 card , just the nature of the engine. And finally...you don't notice it much in most games anyway.

Umm, sorry to burst your bubble but Capcom made the RE games, not nintendo, hell, the NES didn't even feature one RE game at all. Capcom licensed, created, and produced the game all on its own. You know nothing of RE so you shouldn't really say anything. Why do you think they remade the 1st one? To give the players a next gen version of it, they were gonna do it with 2 and 3 but instead turned to work on RE4. Please, be quite... RE:UC is still one of the best looking games for the Wii though.

And yet Nintendo commissioned it for their console? Hmm.

And I know nothing of Resident Evil? Ha! I laugh in your face, asshole. And where exactly did I say the NES had a Resident Evil game? I didn't. You're a moron, now get the fuck off my internetz.

My main point was that the series in general always had bad AA, but than i got cought up in thinking about it and mainly RE4, which was a major title which was exclusively for the gamecube, had poor AA too, but than it got ported and it still had bad AA, and even worse AA than on the Gamecube for the PS2, see, i could make a whole list about poor AA for games for the PS2 just like i did with the gamecube. Just because i'm realizing and bringing up something relevant, doesn't exaclty mean that i'm donating the entire topic to something else which i am REFERRING to. So please... GO STFU AND GTFO...
