Hi, New games like Battlefield 2, NFSMW and so on wont work on my new computer. When i start the game the screen turns black and then jump back to the desktop. I have tried to install older games like Warcraft 3 and they work. These are things i have done to make it work. Reinstalling Windows XP with SP2 several times. Installing the latest videocard driver and older once. Installing motherboard drivers. Installing audio drivers. Installing the newest patches on all games. Installing the latest monitor driver Changed the resolution on the screen. My new computer: Geforce 7800GT, AMD Athlon X2 3800+, 2*512 Corsair XMS PRO Series Asus A8N SLI Motherboard, Windows XP SP2. PLEASE help me!!! Does somebody have any idea??

TA dudeDo you have the newest DirectX version too?
Yea you didn't say anything about your directX. Thats what i would think 1st.
bebopin64what kind of monitor do you have?
!?!?!?!?!?!?!:Puzzled:... Yea... his monitor is working. he said it turns black and goes back to the desktop.
This happened to me when I wanted to play Doom 3. The EXACT same thing.
Go to http://www.nvidia.com and download the latest drivers for your video card. Also, make sure that the driver discs that were included with your video card have been installed.
yes i have installed the latest version of directX 9.0c....but it seam like there is a problem with directX inputs. When i run the directX test it goes fine untill it comes to inputs where the test crashes. Does anybody have a clue how to fix this. My monitor is a Samsung flatscreen but i dont think thats the problem. thx in advance
