Looks pretty vague but from dropping of the world simulator I'm guessing they are trying to open up to other audiences other than flight simmers . graphics look very good though Microsoft Flight

Looks pretty cool I was a pretty big fan of their flight sims for awhile.

I'm not so sure I like seeing the word "Simulator" being dropped. Arcade flying has never really appealed to me.
One thing I'd like to see more of are vintage planes. Flying a ninety year old aircraft is a lot more fun than having a jet on autopilot. Plus there are significantly fewer controls. ;)

I wouldn't be surprised though if that is what Microsoft is doing, at least partially. Hard to earn money with proper simulations these days.
As for the trailer, I think that is a render trailer and not ingame graphics. The Flight Simulator series usually has good graphics though, so we probably don't have to worry about that and more about whether it is necessary to upgrade our PCs to be able to run the game.
But if you like realistic simulators with vintage planes you should check out Rise of Flight. I haven't played it myself yet, but the videos look great.
I've lost count. How many times has Microsoft re-made the same flight sim game with slightly better graphics and planes now? :lulz:
I'm spending a year dead for tax reasons.

I can see this being something slightly different. I can even see story missions, things like re-creating the first ever flight, and other historical moments in history, having to hit the right things and do certain things to pass the mission.
Probably going to be a lot more "action" and "dramatical" than a flight simulator which aims to be as accurate as humanly possible.
.........and I have to admit, I think I'd kinda like that.
