As far as the next generations of systems being released goes (PS3, XBox Next, etc), what are Nintendo's plans ? I heard a while back about some kind of PC compatability... has this been confirmed as of yet ?
The GC2, no news of it. The Gameboy DS being in the public eye, and looking good.
I think the name of the next Nintendo system is codenamed Nintendo NEXT
... and yeah, that DS looks great so far
havent heard anything about it all i know of is the DS....... if there smart they will wait til PS3 and Xbox2 have there runs before and if they release a new consule.
yall should get GameInformer . it tells you things like this. But i do believe that nintendo has announced that there will not be a GC2, but a completely new something.
I heard about that nintendo was sinking
Pure rumour. They are however losing the Feature war. Gamers want a console that is capable of more, even if they can't afford to take advantage of it. Nintendo has the least capable Console, but the most capable portable, atleast until the PSP, even then maybe.
when i use 2 own a game cube (which i sold and now own a ps2) I bought the magazine and it said nintendo wer planning to make a new gamecube code names GC next, but I dought nintendo will make it anymore.
Just found this on Gamespot.
Gmespot = [urlhttp://www.gamespot.com/all/news/news_6089101.html]According[/url] to the Nihon Keizai Shimbun, Nintendo management had decided to forgo development on the GameCube's successor to focus on peripherals that will enhance gameplay, including further interactivity with the Game Boy Advance and (presumably) the upcoming Nintendo DS. The article says that Nintendo would release the first of these peripherals in 2005, when Microsoft is expected to release its next Xbox. The next Sony console is not expected until 2006.
The article said Nintendo would still continue development of "a new home-use game machine for release in the future," but the earliest that machine would be released would be 2007.
its called 'the revolution'. nintendo said it would revolutionize the way we play games forever! where as ps3 and xb2 are simple upgrades of their predecessors, nothing new at all.
