Seriously does anyone care about it, I mean seriously? Nintendo is great when it comes to originality and some of its games are near perfection but Nintendo is so much in the shadows of the larger console kings that really it doesn't stand a chance. Surely the future for Nintendo is the same as Sega and should start to produce games for all systems so a much larger audience can enjoy!
The cake is a lie. There is no cake.

I care about it, considering it's gonna be around £150 ($250 roughly), it's not only going to be cared about, it's going to be owned. Not just by me, but a heck of a lot of other people.
Nintendo, in the shadows of the console kings? I think the fact that Nintendo consistently leads in sales worldwide would beg to differ.
I am just tired of every few years my equipment being considered obsolete.. unfortunately, that is life.
I think a combination of its (relatively) low price and it's lack a spontanious combustion will make it sucessful
^^ lol. yeah, the general consensus is that it stands more than a fighting chance- i think most will be suprised as to how well it might do. Personally, it looks intresting and not as gimicky as i thought it would be. Metroid is gonna be amazing on it + zelda + mario, what is important is whether 3rd paty developers will back it, thats what brings in the mainstream gamers. If not, then it'll probabley face the same fate as the gamecube, underachieving and underutilised
I think PS3 and Xbox 360 are for "Gamers" who are ready to spend $300-$600 on a simple thing that just might set on fire, fall a foot and never work again or even get stolen by the evil monkey in their closet.
Nintendo seems like the most reasonable competitor, sure Sony is just adding perks and good graphics to a few games, but $600 for a simple Video Game? 'Gimmie a break!
The Wii will be good and I saw a list of games coming out for it. I'll have to find it again. And also. I still play my Gamecube and like it. It beat the PS2 to a pulp.
