I remember when I bought PS3 a while ago with CoD4. I was so psyched. Then I get in and you cannot choose maps, they are chosen for you. The game is so amazingly fun, but why in the world would they make it like that? Cheep holes they are.

So I thought they would change CoD: World at War to have map options and customize your own match searches, but no. I guess PC truly holds the bar for this one. I would love to buy a PC and make the transition from controller, to mouse and keyboard, but money does not grow on trees.

So, my main question is, why not make CoD4 and CoD:WaW for consoles, the same way they made it for the PC? With the nice interface and choice of what games and maps you want to play on.

Because it's a console and consoles suck.

That response was completely unnecessary. Does not answer an honest question for someone who knows what PC's have that consoles do not have, but does not want to waste $1500 on a descent PC to run Crysis on mid settings.

You can run Crysis on mid settings on a $600 PC.

Face it. Developers design console games for morons. They need the console games to work for the average Joe Q. Retard to start up the game and push 3 buttons and boom, they are playing the game.

The "Gaming PC" is more complex, thus allowing the PC version of the game to allow for more options. You can have the complex server browser that allows you to filter by ping, map, and 1000 other settings on the PC while, though possibly possible, not just worth their time on the consoles.

There we go. Thank you for the clarity on my issue. It's sad, but makes perfect sense. Oh boy, guess it's time to pull the trigger on a new PC. You know when you mentioned $600 to run Crysis on mid-settings? That has struck me with relief! Now I will look into a PC on newegg.

Now heres the funky question, AMD Phenom II quad-core? or Intel quad-core?

Intel I recommend you look into the tech subsection on GF for more details. The people here..(there ) will defininitely help you if you ask.

Just remember to say around 600.

Wait... Let me get this straight. Console versions of CoD 4 & 5 don't actually let you chose the map you want to play in MP?

That's so ridiculous I'm surprised they even came up with an idea like that, much less decided to run with it.
