You must quit. I had/have the same thing with TF2. I got it last year with Halloween from Zamamee, and I loved it and held these 20 hours marathons (well, only twice, and my total game time isn't over 200 yet even :p), but I woke up a few hours before school to play, and when I came home, I'd turn on my pc and make a sandwich and resume playing.

But then, my internet connection broke, lots of blablabla with ISP and so, and I only got my internet back a few days ago. During these 84 days, I felt bad because I wanted to play TF2, but I just couldn't. Now I just play when I have time and want to, not constantly.

I suggest selling your account for some money, and breaking the discs. They aren't that much worth, and it will help you if can really see that you can't play, just snap those discs! No matter what clan mates say or so, just do it!

I had an addiction with runescape and WoW and possibly every other RPG or MMO.

Quiting isn't easy, it's like giving up smoking lol. If you enjoy the game don't quit but if it gets involved in your day to day life something should be done. I found that by not joining an alliance or only playing with 1 or 2 friends is a good way to make it just a 2 hour a day thing.

The simple matter is, if you think you need to quit then you probably do need to quit. And if you probably do need to quit, then you probably should quit.

It can't be any harder than giving up GOD DAMN FUCKING STUPID SMOKING YOU BASTARDS. Not that I'm finding it difficult to give up smoking.

I have played WOW, but TBH could never get into it. It always looks too bright, and comic looking, but saying that I do play other MMO'S. What I dont do is let them rule my life. I love playing Conan, and have about 11 alts there. Have also played GW, Lineage 2, AIon, LOTRO, too not to mention many others. Yes I have wasted hours at the PC playing them, and having a games room to my self makes it even easier to get into any game.

Thing is games are ment to played by YOU not the other way round.

I played it for 20 minutes and got bored.

It's a game, and games aren't anything special. When you're wandering round the cities in the manner you describe, it means you're bored.

Quit, and make sure the only sword you're using from then on is the one attached to your pelvis.
