Nothing wrong with being picky, in fact I consider myself to be. It's just that when you are it takes extra research to find and read detailed reviews to narrow down your choices. For the most part customer reviews are going to be more glowing than review sites because most people only buy the types of games they like. Most sites that show both their rating and customer ratings indicate a much higher percentage from the customers. It's pretty much the same when you ask on forums but there are exceptions of course.
It's just that I usually don't believe any sites, magazines or whatever...everyone can be bought. But I hope there are people who played the game and could really tell me the game experience on this forum. If you are going to tell me to play demos, I say that demo is usually the best part of the game and when you buy it...well you could get disapointed. I could stop playing games and do other activities like hanging around the forum:) but I don't want to stop playing games:(.
hmm. you say you can do other things. but you dont want to stop. cant you just fill in most of your free time with those other activities? and play games when its dark and you have nothing else to do?
Well, that's what I do now:).
thats good. so if you own a lot of games. even better. because you can then play one game for a long time and if your occupied with other stuff then you can alternate games after a month or so and the game will always feel new.
Yeah you're right but I don't want to see baldurs gate for another 10 years(20 times went trough). I guess it's very similiar with some other games as well:).

I'm not sure what type of genres you like, but my favorite "boredom busters" are Civilization IV, Operation Flashpoint, and Morrowind. The last two have very extensive modding communities and pretty much guarantee endless replay value.
I didn't make it!
Darth Taxi;4214469Well I've seen Halo and haven't found it really intriguing why is it so good? About RS4 any new features there? Is it still 3rd person walking around with gun shooting zombies and doing some puzzle, this time it's african zombies, right?
well the camera views are better. more 1st person shooterish now. puzzles are waaaay easier now. there spanierd(spain sorry if spelt wrong) zombies not african (african zombies are in re5). lots of bonus things in the game you will find over time. oh and the graphics are really good considering it was made back in 2004. i recommend the ps2 version or pc version if you want bonus material and some cool mods. i loved the game. oh and if you ever play it and get to the part where you fight a giant fish thingy shoot the water before fighting it. you'll be in for a surprise.
Maybe you should play an MMO such as World of Warcraft?
Civilisation is great but I liked Europe universalis more, flashpoint was good I learned a lot from that game and morrowind is a classy. The RS 4 seems fine I might get it for ps. Wow? Got bored of it really soon.
