I remember playing Hexen, that game was awesome. Did anyone else play it?

The real tragedy of modern gaming is it's now super popular so instead of art it's now being moved by money and that means there will be more and more run of the mill just churned out clone games or movie inspired games with very few really great games that break boundaries and are perfected they will still occur but with the graphics of today games like HL2 could have been mind blowing but instead we go yet another industrial future with bombed out ruined citys like every other game at the moment

as you say Brozan.

yeah Hexen was pretty good never has the ful game but played the demo i loved the wizards freeze spell hand move ment :) one of my favirote games ever is Blood and that was done in 1997

A lot of the old DOS games were very, very addictive. I remember playing Cannon Fodder for days and days.

It was the first true first person shooter I ever played. Was about ten, and we had no games installed on the computer, or so I thought. Somehow I mananged to accidentally open up the game (I guess it came installed on the computer), and I had no clue how to get out. For days all I did was have a huge amount of fun exploring all the different levels. We didn't have the Internet and I had opened up the multiplayer without even knowing. :p

New aged game's are better because of graphic's, gameply, gaming online, and it's 3d and these new aged game's look real.

Gameplay is what makes truly great games. Graphics aren't necessarily a biggie for all people, and many old games could be played in multiplayer...

Old school was better. Less reliance on graphics, more reliance on game play. Plus, of course, without "Old School" you wouldn't have any of the games you have today.
