I like games that have been out a bit, so they run great on my PC and have been tweaked through patches. I don't really like booting up a game of Elite every night, but I do like the latest releases. So overall, I'm probably newschool.

NASCAR 2003 Racing is in drive one always. Drive 2 has whatever I'm in the mood for.

Q3 CTF needs no CD and I still play that here and there. Love CTF. Same with SOF2.

In the end I'd have to say old school wins. Got bored with HL2 quick. DOOM3 just didn't do it for me. BF2 is not that great.

Waiting for Quake Wars....

Year of release means nothing. It's all about the enjoyability.

I like both old and newschool, but i would have to say i have, and play alot more newschool games. One game that is almost always in one of my drives is Knights Of The Old Republic, and the other usually has something like Battlefield or Far Cry in it.

Many Oldschool games have something that a lot of new games lack, what exactly I'm not totally sure. While I love the ever improving video & audo & so forth. Now I play mainly RPG's and Strategy/War games, so I only speak for those. Some of the best (in my opinion) have been out for some time. I still play Ultima VII every once in a while though I've beaten it multiple times. I haven't found any newschool games that enthrall me the way some of the games that have been out for a while do, Though the Bard's Tale is fun if I can ever beat Fnarf lol.
