Any games you really miss playing online, either cause the servers went down or the game went away, or support is just simply lacking and nobody is playing?

Weird one for me, I really used to love playing the Xbox Poker game MS had on Xbox 360 for a while, sunk a lot of hours into that and won quite a bit of virtual coinage, only for the game to go away......

Never found an online poker game as fun as that.

For as BLEH a movie as it was, I sure enjoyed playing the online for PS3's Quantum of Solace.  That was the last time I played an FPS competatively on a controller.  I'm sure the servers are in the dustbin of gaming history by now, if not by deactivation it'd be lack of players.

CoD4 Promod.  Back in my day, I rolled with some of the best ESL players and, on a good day, I would absolutely destroy an enemy team.  On a bad day...well...let's just say I learned a lot of colorful new words tonguez.gif

Not played a Bond game in so long.

Goldeneye was the pinnacle, and Tomorrow Never Dies was okay but a bit..... well, it didn't hold up in  comparison..

Are the new ones any good?

I'm not the best source for that seeing as QOS was the only bond game I had access to, but it kind of was similar to Gears of War with wall hugging and camping corners with shotguns.  Was fun but eventually bogged down to the same predictible game play.

Frontlines: Fuel of War. I guess.

It wasn't even good, but I can't help but miss it.

A more understandable one to miss is Jumpgate: The Reconstruction Initiative.

Never got into it too much since I was still a kid when it was still supported, and the word "clunky" is understatement of the year, but it really was the first game to bring some form of Elite-style gameplay into the 21st century. In hindsight I wish I'd given it more of a chance.

I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.
