I think the open the console, then type open 0.0.0.00:0000 Of course, you replace the first part with the IP, and after the colon the port. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

tks for response. I was looking for something that would check the port and open it if not so. Apparent problem may have cleared itself in that servers began appearing. Much obliged.

After checking with my OEM, the port can be opened thru the XP firewall settings from the Control Panel. With firewall on, go Advanced and see if AA is a listed application. Port openings will be automatic. If it is not listed, hit the Add button and scroll thru to find AA and have it added. Seems we can't find new servers because admins have not given the new ports permission. Nothing we can do about their failure to comply.
