i was wondering, do i need to download both the first patch (v 1.01) and second (v1.02) when patching my game? or will the second patch (v1.02) include everything the first did? thanks
As there aren't "incremental" versions of the patch available anywhere, I'd assume that they're both full patches so you just need to download the 1.02.
I'd guess they're both full patches as the size isn't really big enough to offer an incremental update.
So download 1.02. S'all good.
hi, thanks ^^ so far ive had only a few problems with game exiting etc. but that only happend a few times and when i entered the game again the problem didnt occur again :D but i dunno if i can be bothered to patch the game lol and start again...i just got to the upper temple...do u think its worth it or should i just start again with patch? as in do i have long to go?
Oh if you patch it it won't remove your saves. You can continue from exactly where you left off. All it does is "improve" the engine and remove a few bugs. Totally worth doing it. No penalty what-so-ever, and also there's nothing in either of the patches that is dramatically gameplay changing, so if I were you, I'd definatly download it.
Hi again, thank you for your advice :) but everytime i try to install the patch it tells me there is something wrong with my security Rom module or something (i cant remember it has been a while ago) and so i have to repair the game's installation :( why does it do this? any help would be great. and again thanks for all help up to this point ^^
Personally it sounds like you might have had some installation error to do with the CD and/or your disk drive.
(I'm literally going out on a whim here and guessing that the ROM means you might have some kind of disk drive error where the drive isn't reading the disk properly. If you want my honest advice, I'd just install through Steam. Means downloading, but it means you automatically get the patches andit wont have a CD install error)
(Oh, and there is a way to transfer your saves from the CD version into the Steam version should you wish to re-install it that way. Might be a bit pointless though just for the patch. I'd just run without it unless you're really bothered.)
