I'm pretty sure that AntiSpyware will treat PB as a BIG FAT TROJAN cause that's exactly what it is . Debuggers and Memory Scanners will give you problems too . So , yeah , Enjoy ! if you can , i sure can't . I want my money back ! Hell , the entire XP is just a big quilt of multiple trojans link together ! Enjoy !

Yes I have same Problem... I downloaded PBWEB and put it in Americas Army/System/Pb/ and ran it. I updated all my Punkbuster files. BUT still i get this same message on many Authorised and Official servers: "Punkbuster Client: PB Client in Distress: Cannot Authenticate with server (A1340)" and "Pbbag error" I dunno what to do. I have turned "ArmyOps.exe" and "PBWEB.exe" to Trusted on every tab in Zone Alarm Pros Program Control Tabs so it has access to everything on the internet. And yet it still cant update itself while im Playing AAO. I have searched the internet and found another solution to nopen specific ports. But i dont know how to. Please if anyone knows how to open these ports for PB to updates its files, tell me.

go to the punkbuster site, then to downloads. and follow the instructions: just right click and save file as, all of the ones for windows or mac or linux, whichever one your using, then put them in your PB folder. (the instructions on the page will tell you where your folder is specifically)

(i wish i was able to post the exact link, but i am not allowed to. :( )

If you want me to e-mail you the link, email me at tehkey1@hotmail, or post your email address. I will try to check my email and this forum as often as possible.

magjikpunkbuster client: removing magjik (0 minutes) restriction: inadequate O/S privileges.

Ok, If I get technical just throw tomatoes at my email....:D What this means is PunkBuster cannot get access to certain parts of Windows under your account's security clearance, to put it bluntly. Solutions: Im assuming your running Windows XP so... Try to play America's Army under an Administrator's account, or run ArmyOps.exe under administrative rights, by selecting the ArmyOps.exe file, right clicking it, and selecting Run As... From there select the second radio button and select an account and type the correct password. NB: All account's listed in the Run As dialog are all Administrator accounts or accounts with administrative rights. What PunkBuster could also be complaining about is the lack of NTFS permissions. Meaning that PunkBuster cannot write data to certain files in it's home folder. I run Windows XP Professional so fixing this problem is easy, but Windows XP Home Edition doesnt have as many security configuration tools as Windows XP Professional. See if the first solution helps if not post your system configuration details back here.

I had the same problem, just type "pb_security 0" and it should work.
