I thought I would check this game out because the trailers looked really cool. I still had my doubts though, about how they were going to pull off a western shooter, complete with duals, gunfights on horseback, and chasing stage coaches, etc., and make it believable and interesting.

I was pleasantly surprised. Even wowed. Hats off to the creators.

My all time favorite two games are FarCry and Stalker. I highly recommend this game.

Check it out....

Anyone else?

{I didn't see anything else on this so sorry if it's already been discussed.}

I've watched a few videos of this game, but actually have no idea what it is about or the plot, etc.

Cheers for getting my attention, may just read into it!

I've seen plenty of trailers for it. But I'm not sure I'd enjoy the game too much considering I'm not into westerns so much. I have no doubts about how good the game is (played it) but I doubt the theme would keep me looking at the TV.

Hmm.. just read the IGN review, they didn't seem exactly happy with it. And my Gaming Magazine gave it 5/10 and labelled it "Passable".

I'll find a demo and see what I think. Probably won't buy it in the end. Enjoying BF2142 too much.

It looks awesome. I expect to get it for my 360.

Just to give an idea of what it's like without spoiling it. This is known from the start, so no spoiler here. You start out as young Billly who is accused of doing something very bad. Since no one believes you, you run away. In the mean time, you take on the role of a crazed preacher, out for justice, while hunting down Billy.

You change roles several times between the preacher and Billy. The story slowly builds towards an exciting climax at the end. It was pretty cool. It seemed like watching a movie. Lots of cut scenes though, but they were narrorated, very well done, and entertaining.

Along the way you will use everything including your fists in fist fights, bow and arrows, dynomite, a whip for killing varments {or anything} and swinging across gorges, and your feet for kicking in doors. And of course all the different six shooters and rifles.

Also lots of sneaking around the bad guys so they won't see you. And it really works in this game.

While using the bow and arrows, when you pull the string, it goes into slow mode like F.E.A.R.s slow mo. Pretty cool. The sound effects are great.

Ok, nuff said before someone sends a lynch mob after me.:lol: I just thought some of you might like a clue what the game is like besides just being a western.
