It was my birthday yesterday and I'm seriously thinking about picking up a PS3, but from what I heard from the xbox360 luanch models, they pretty much explode after a year of use because of faulty cooling. I don't want to pick up a PS3 and have it break after a year or even a month. I'm asking you guys if I should take the risk and get a launch model or wait till christmas? What do you'ssee peeps think? cc.

never, ever, EVER buy a console at launch, wait until they fix all of the inevitable problems they "over looked" to get the console out the door

If there is no image, Mikey broke something...
