OK, so it took me forever to find a good install. I finally did, but now I cant pass the first training. I know you cant ask for help in that regards, thats not what this is about. I have good acuracy but it never passes me. And then i noticed that my misses were going up without me even doing anything. When i hit a target sometimes i need to wait like 10 secs before another pops up, and in that time it gives me misses. And i think that there may be a problem, where they are popping back up, but not viewable. Is there any setting, maybe in the video section, that would cause this to occur?
you may have your video settings so horribly low that you cant see textures that far in the distance. what model vid. card do you have? also on the missing targets without doing anything:if you dont shoot a target in time you will get a miss. if you keep missing targets, listen for breathing. when your sights are up, listen for when hes done inhaling or exhaling, and then shoot the center of the target. hope this helps
Well, my comp is pretty up to date. Its custom by myself, an Althalon 2500, running at about 1.8Ghz, 512 Ram, 80GB 7200. The only not completely up to date aspect is the video card. Just haven't had the funds to buy a real good one. It was good a few years ago, but technology aint good after that amount of time. Its a Voodoo 4, with 32mb ram. I want a 128 or a 256, but I just haven't had the $$ to be honest, so i threw this in for the mean time. I figured it was better than any on board. So, thats prob. my problem. I dropped some of the graphics settings, to compensate for it. and that must have caused the problems. Are there any settings i can drop, while still getting the detail i need for the game, without it running dead slow? I know the easiest solution would be a new card, but thats not very possible this moment. Obviously a new one would help. But until then what, if anything can i do? Also, when i can get a new one, maybe x-mas, will a 128mb be enough? Any ideas?
