Here, name examples of games in which you have seen the AI cheat (which is in just about every game). You see this pretty often in RTS games. In Empire Earth, if you go into the scenario editor it actually has an "AI Cheat mode" which is the default! And in Starcraft, there is often a trigger in which the AI receives a whole bunch of minerals and vespene gas if the player builds a certain number of building/units. In such cases, it is usually just to keep it challenging for the players, but in other games the AI does really annoying stuff. I've seen FPS games in which AI enemies can shoot through "solid" objects such as trees and boulders, and sometimes even walk through them.

Well if they walk through objects there not cheating, cause in most cases you can do that aswell... What do you mean by cheating AI? As where the AI gets abillites that the human player does not get, or has different stats?

When the first Bf2 patch arrived, there was an accident that enabled AI cheats. (this only ever happened to a few people)

One of the worst: Civilization 3. Absolutely infuriating how they seem to know where to strike, how to get +1000 gold per turn, and miraclously get new techs out of the blue (just so you couldn't get too far ahead). Then there is, of course, the artificial stupidity that makes your characters act like walking targets, like in the Sims 2.

I like the cheats in Enter the Matrix as you can cheat where the enemy won't see you anymore, or as the enemy can't hear you anymore. And of course you can use both of them but one is good enough.

but the point is, if the AI in the game cheat... so, the enemy using the invincibility cheat or no footprints cheat..

Another example of cheating AI would be in strategy games where the computer can build structures twice as fast as the player.

I know exactly what you mean. Like when I tryed to play Age of Empires 3 (Exp) with my bro LAN. The enemy would always get an insane amout of units insanely fast. It was crazy stupid.

the AI cheated a lot in BF1942. I've seen it pull off perfect shots with a sniper rifle - while running - and a thousand feet away. I've seen it enter a room and fire a perfect shot without even turning to aim - again with a sniper rifle.
