Pretty average reviews sadly.:uhm: They all think the AI is stupid but the detail is really good. Still 71% average ratio is pretty plain, I was hoping it would get like 90%+:(

Even if the AI is bad, it can be fixed with patches :)

Have you actualy bought the game urak? i wouldn't listen to any review that gives it less than 90%, because they must not know what they are talking about, i've read so many reviews that give it 80%-90% even but they still talk crap and make game seem alot worse than it is.

I haven't played it yet, its not out for a few more days here I think. I still want to play it though. I really should stop looking forward to Peter Molyneux games so much, they are always hyped so much but never are as good as they seem.

Lionhead doesn't make them seem better than they will be, stupid reviewers do, and then when the game comes out and it's better than lionhead said it would be, like black and white 2 is, the reviewers still bich about it, while forgetting to tell people none the less its miles better than pretty much every other game out.

Reviews are a guide, not a gospel. Find a way to play the game in person and then decide for yourself what you think of it. I would rate it highly, as a lot of those reviews did. Some may rate it low, as a few of them did. And some will rate it as average, as the rest of those reviews did. This is the same for any game. Half-Life 2 was declared the greatest game of all time by numerous publications -- PC Gamer being one of them. Others consider it to be overrated tripe. Red Faction received awards and was degraded at the same time. It's not just with games either. Movies, books, magazines -- even people. Margaret Thatcher is apparently the greatest living Briton according to 2002's '100 Greatest Britons', yet at the same time holds third place in 2003's '100 Worst Britons' survey. And just you try and get a consensus on what the best car is. As with anything, try it yourself and then form your own opinion. Don't bother with what other people think. As I said, I would rate it highly. In my opinion, the game is a lot of fun, it's very easy to get into (did you know that 75% of people who played B&W1 had never actually played a computer game before?), and the creature AI is sensational. The only thing I can really fault it on is the fact that sometimes you feel more like a town planner than a god, but that feeling is soon alleviated by setting off a few miracles or having your creature stomp on somebody's head. But you'll just have to see for yourself whether you agree with me or not.
