Ok, I'd have put this under the sticky but I don't think anyone would really notice it then, so sorry if this is not where I should put it. Here are some screenshots from Gamespot: The article about how these crazy looking "controllers" work is here. After seeing this, it appears the 360 is the only console with a controller like the original. The PS3's might not be too bad, but this is just plain weird....oh well it is Nintendo.
Geez, that looks very weird. The 'A' button is on the front apparently, but the 'B' button is on the back where your index finger rests?! That's nuts.
the second analog stick replaced by actual movement of the Revolution controller.
I think this thing sounds impossible to control! Wait and see I guess.
About all I can say. I think it's totally hideous, and will be very difficult to use.
Thought it was TV remote when i first looked.
Well you just can't really micro it. See like a PS2 controller and Xbox Controller you can micro. But this....I dont know
Micro it?
That is the worst controller I have ever seen in my life. Im not going to even bother thinking about getting it now.
Wow! It looks... weird.
I can't wait to try it out though. I bet it will be better than people think.
have any of you seen the video? if you havent head on over to ign.com, the control is supposed to move to the movement of your had so there wont be a need for the d-pad i think its a cool idea. i wasnet going to get the revolution but now it got my attention. and a lot of you might end up chaingin there mind. nintendo has been working on this control back when they developed the gamecube control and i think a lot of pepole will end up geting it for the control.
yes, but can you imagine actually using it in a practical situation? How much space around you do you think you'd need? Careful not to knock that cup of coffee over! Oops! you just accidentally poked your friends' eye out... "Man, there's no need to uppercut me in real life! Damn! It's only a game!"
