well look under the advanced setting in the bios...to get to the bios hold down the "delete" key in post...(the time when your computer is first turned on but nothing has loaded yet...just press on and hold delete)....take a look at the booklet that came with the mother board...acouplee other things that helped my fps were...setting jops as high cpu priority, clearing up my desktop...like everything on it...go to the novalogic forums for detailed guilds on how to tweak out your computer...http://www.novaworld.com

Have you checked the amount of running processes in the background? Another reason for lag can be spyware viruses but if its a brand new machine I doubt it will. Still worth checking

run adware updates so you get more of it. . Get the latest graphic drivers and try turning down sound quality

Try Spybot as well, a combination of both spybot and ad-aware usually work best

I have to admit, that I am havig the same expereince with the x800 series. In fact, I just posted regarding the problem.

Right now, I miss my MSI 9800 Pro. I got really good performance from it in JO. My new, amazing X800 XT PE is not giving me the same performance at all. Or not at all what I was expecting. Dont know what the deal is.

"kill your computer."
