Now that the Game is out, I think there has to be an actual thread where gamers can talk about what they want... Tell Stories, ask questions, discuss tactics, or just chat, but all in the topic of Saints Row... Have fun :)

i don't have xbox360 myself YET but when i get it (soon :D), Saints Row is going to be my second game, after Dead Rising. i got a few questions: 1. after you finish the main story line and sidequests, what is there to do? (if its like GTA:SA then yeah, i know the answer :) ) 2. is it better than Dead Rising in terms of replayability?

Nothing is more Entertaining on the 360 than Dead Rising. Nothing. The Sword and Scythe are the best weapons by far. The Thing I don't like about Saint's Row is that it's like a Gangster Game but there's like 5 Black People in the Whole Game. (My Friend has a 360, and I played the Demo) Julius has a very Astute Voice, but he uses slang. It's a strange cominbination.

Spoiler: Show
Well after you take over all the gangs the credits role. But then, once you head back to the church, you'll find that missions aren't over yet and you'll have a few more to mess around with.

There is also multiplayer and I'm sure soon-to-be downloadable content. It's kept me busy for awhile now.

Heh, you obviously haven't gotten very far in the game yet if you think those weapons are the best.

Heres a tip;

Spoiler: Show
Fight Adam (the clown), he is one of the bosses in Wonderland Plaza. He's an easy fight and drops one of the most powerful weapons in the game, his juggling chain saws. These will respawn where you killed him, and make all the other boss fights much more simple and not off the wall frusterating. Keep going back for these before boss matches. 4-6 hits on a boss from these bad boys = game over for them. ;) (save the security guard from the ride after you kill Adam and follow him to the ladies bath room -- whats this?? Secret tunnel to Paradise Plaza?? Cooool ;) )

You mean like 5,000,000 right? It's a pretty even combination, and I even think it's coded that way.

Julius is voiced by Keith David.

you don't need the 've' there. just a little grammar lesson. But Saints Row must have awesome multiplayer, and the demo missions are really great.

I haven't played the demo, I just went out and bought the game. I just want to add though, that sometimes demos don't always do justice to the actual game.

Take the Dead Rising demo for example. I was impressed by the graphics (duh), but the demo actually turned me off. It didn't really explain anything and it would cut out often and only give you so much time to play it. You didn't really get to a chance to get into it or even get a feel for it. A demo should have you wanting more, not feeling like, "screw this" each time you had to restart it after about 20 minutes.

I bought the game though and wow, what a difference. More balance and a better understanding of how the game works and the goal(s), etc. Capcom though has a huge reputation and I'm a huge fan of Resident Evil. I knew Dead Rising would kick major ass. ;)

But I don't know what the SR demo is all about, but I would reccomend people play the actual game before they judge it. It might be the same situation that I went through with DR.

Just my 2 cents. ;)
