I was just so very curious on how in the world you take screenshots while you are playing a game? I have a PS2 and I like to play Monster Hunter online, and some people and I got to doing some funny things and I want to know, just for knowledges sake, how to take a screen shot while playing a game on PS2. only way i know of is get a digital camera, point at tv and poof....instant screenshot....


If there is no image, Mikey broke something...

:agreed but it probably wont be good quality either, depending on your camera

Any body really know how? Just curious. Thanks for the answers though guys. I am just so curious, because I want a quality picture. And if I figure it out I can show you guys what I am talking about through a picture. Its a funny thing trust me.

there might be a way to hook the PS2 up to a computer and do it that way....i dont know of any

:uhm: I think the digital camera one will work, but that's if your camera's good and you have a decent resolution on your TV. Otherwise I don't have a clue...

The digital camera method does work somewhat, I've tried it with a fairly decent 3 megapixel camera. Assuming you line it up right, and you don't have an absurdly curved screen, you can get a TV image to look almost like a screenshot. The only real problem with it is that you get those 'TV lines' on the image.

Maybe I will try the camera method. But I really am curious to know if I can hook my PS2 or TV to a computer. I take my TV and PS2 downstairs to our computer room to play online sometimes. That way I can use my Network cable. Maybe having a PS2 by the computer is a blesing? I just have to find a way to hook my TV up. Maybe something USB? Maybe I will do some research. If anyone has any additional help please bring it to me. THanks a bunch. PEACE!
