~Kyrillix~;5587382Let's be fair here. The male Shepard's voice acting was 10 times as bad. Female Shepard was alright.

Wait...you're serious? I thought the voice fit the character perfectly.

Fitting isn't necessarily good acting. The voice suits very well, but the voice acting of dialog is done in a wrong manner. It sounds as if he reads straight from the script (which he does).

Female Hawke was pretty darn feminine sexy.

I guess I just don't see it that way. :/ I tend to focus more on story...I only notice voice acting if it is REALLY bad. A couple of times in LA Noire I kinda sat back and was just like ... really? But never once in Mass Effect.

I tend to play as male, mostly in MMOs. As a woman, you wouldn't believe some of the harassment that occurs if they know you're a woman initially. So I tend to kick ass and throw people around whatever instance we may be in (FPS or MMO), and by that point they hopefully have a healthy respect for my gameplay and won't be jerks should I decide to speak. Granted, it's sad that these people have nothing better to do with their lives than harass me because I am a boob-support mechanism, but I still find it rather annoying when I'm actually vying for victory in a game. Better to masquerade as a man and just not deal with it most of the time.

haha boob-support mechanism...

I am the type of person who plays games as if it were me in the character's position, in MMO/RPGs, at least. So I go with a male character and make ingame choices that I would make if I were actually in that position. However, I do make sure to try the other gender, to see what's different.

I play as a female cos I am a female, but you don't always get the choice. My ex boyfriend always played as a woman if he could, he always was weird though. Not that your weird if you play a female, he just was very weird.
