We all know that most Xbox 360's suffer hardware failures. I suspect that this is due in part to the way they are built.

What do you think?

The 360 was also rushed into production without receiving sufficiant hardware testing.

Yes. The hardware issues would be the one of the reasons i like the Ps3 way more. Bye 360, Ps3 is the winner.

I thought they already redesigned it...? Unless I'm just hallucinating.

Well, i've never had a problem with my 360, so i'll say no. The only redesign i would like is a "Slim" version, like what they did with the PS2.

Despite your Kenshi signature, I'm going to have to call you an idiot. Horrible sales and mostly mediocre games with a few decent ones. A console is only as good as it's games.

This may be a stupid view to take, but I say no. It works as long as they repair it, as long as it isn't on fire and/or on fire as soon as it comes back from the shop, no.

No, most XBOX 360s were sent to Microsoft and were either edited, or traded for new ones. Most of the new XBOX 360s you will buy today in store will no longer have hardware problems. Plus, they come with a two year warranty. If it doesn't break in two years, it shouldn't break after that.

Precisely. What's the point in buying a PS3 if you're hardly going to get your money's worth? It's twice the price and not even half the quality games in it's line-up, whereas the 360 has a lot of strong exclusives of it's own and most of Sony's former 'trump cards'.

It's a no-brainer, really. 360 is the better value for money, all a PS3 has on it's side is brand-name power, which is the polite way of saying "chav bait" and "money sink".

'course, I'd still take a Wii before either of the above, but I'm more likely to go Wii+360 than Wii+PS3, because I'm just not going to get as much longevity from the PS3.

I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.

yes, i see a lot of people say how they got the red ring of death. seriously it cant be that hard to get some better hard ware... actually i think the crappy hardware is why the 360 is like 200 dollars cheaper then a ps3
