Hi all, I got some noob questions I'd like you to answer. 1. Can you choose what weapon loadout you have if so how? 2. What are the boxes with swap supposed to be for? 3. I've played games as both defense and assault and both teams were american. How do you get on the terrorist team? thanks.

some answers from a noob:

1. what do you mean by a "loadout"? you can only add equipment like new sights, grenade/flare launcher, or bipod from the Personel Jacket>Weapons Mod page. And they are only for use on SF maps

2. I had this question too. it`s so you can request that a player "swap" weapons with you (i.e. if you want AR and the position is filled you can ask to "swap")

3. The game is set up so that no matter which side you choose you always appear as U.S. and they always appear as OpFor.

Hope this Helps

1)differen't spots in teh squad have differen't loadouts. the spot marked with a 'G' is the Grenidier. he gets a 203 and ... well, i'm not sure on his loadout for grenades and such. the spot marked 'AR' is the Automatic Rifle, aka SAW (Squad Automatic Rifle). again, i'm not sure on his loadout of frags and stuff.... the 'S' slots are advanced marksmen, deppending on the slot you get a differen't rile. on bridge the FTB sniper gets a m-24 while the other sniper gets the m-28. 'R' is the riflemen. pretty self explanitory.

2)like sir fraggedalot said, you can swap weapons with another player. if your done with your ,-24 and the SAW wants to snipe, you hit the 'swap' button next to his name. when he hits the 'accept swap' that appears next to your name you swap slots.

3)again, like sir fraggedalot said, you can not be on the OpFor team.

if i understand CorToSiSRoSE right, your talking about the no. of nades, smoke, etc. a player gets in his inventory. And now that I know what a "loadout" is (lol) I Agree, it depends on your spot. But I seem to recall somtimes having more of one item on one server than I had on another. Can the admin change these settings?

Well, in the last patch they tweaked the number of grenades and such for various classes. If you aren't talking about that, yes, admins can change the amount of ammo, grenades, etc, but those aren't official servers. You won't gain honor by playing on them.

So it's all random what spot you get except when you're trying to swap?

no, you select your spot by joining a team then hitting F2.
