Firstly, I've been told that there is no point to getting the creature creator if you already have the full version of spore. Is this the case, or is the creature creator something different?

Secondly, in spore, when befreinding another species in the animal stage, there seems to be 4 ways of raising the friendship gague. Sing, dance, and charm are the ones I am aware of. But sometimes the opposing creature will do something else and I can't figure out what it is.

Also what is the purpose of "siren song"?

For each level of the abilities(Dependent on the set of feet, etc), there's a different animation and sound effect. Some parts even have completely different animations, even with Rank 1. [QUOTE=starforce2;4962772]Also what is the purpose of "siren song"?

If you accidentally attack another creature, it can be used to calm them down for a short amount of time, allowing you to flee.

Ok, That part I get. But there seems to be one type of "display" or "pose" that the creature infront of me can do that doesn't seem to be any of the things I can do. They seem to streach out their arms, you hear like this horn or bagpipe sound. My sing or charm mode doesn't seem to be whatever their are doing and any species that relies on a sequence involving this for their friendship I often end up destroying for the points, because I can't match their moves because I dunno what it is they are doing.

Maybe it's a glitch? The only animation that involves them stretching out their arms is the first rank of Pose.

well, are there supposed to be 4 bottons in that section? IE I have sing, dance, and charm. It looks like there should be another, but for me it is blank.

Ah, that's the problem then. There's Sing(Mouths), Dance(Feet), Charm(Details, I think), and Pose(Hands). Some of the hands only have combat attributes attached to them, and not Pose.

ahh. I'll watch for that on the next edit. I'm ready for the tribal stange but don't wish to advance right now, so I am not sure, can I continue to mate and hatch new versions of my animal without advancing?

I'm pretty sure you can. You wont advance until you click the "Next Stage" thing.

Also, what do I need to do to climb steep hills? I managed to get some creatures down by spitting at them, and sometimes other creatures are up top where I can't seem to go. Need more legs? Or what?

Errh, that is a glitch. No creature should be able to climb the steep hills, so if there's a hostile or friendly nest up there, you can't get to it.
