I read awhile back the first game was coming to 360... I hope so cause I've never had a good enough of a PC to play it... :(
Hmmm, wouldn't be too sure about that:
Add to the above articles the fact that the official GSC site has no indication of a STALKER 2 in their News or Projects sections, and it doesn't look good.
Feel me. Do I feel pretty?

I was about to mention that the studio responsible for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 was closing down. I would shed a tear, but they were planning on using always-on DRM for the game. I hate it that those people lost their jobs, but I'm very much against always-on DRM and devs/publishers that use it (or plan on using it).
Honestly I am looking forward mostly to 4AGames' Metro: Last Light. I haven't been longing for more STALKER releases after Clear Skies and Call of Pripyat were far less impressive than Shadows of Chernobyl for me.
Those articles I posted talk of a console deal for STALKER 2 falling through being the primary reason for the cancellation and closure, calculating that PC sales alone would not be worth the cost. The reality is GSC let the STALKER series go kinda stale compared to what it originally was, both in story and graphics.
If not I'm sure they'd at least have gotten those developing for the 360 interested as was done with Metro 2033. That's saying a lot for a title when something that's such a resource hog on PC is put on console as well, even despite the dumbed down graphics. Last Light is going to be released on PC, 360, PS3, AND Wii U.
