Did anyone here play the demo as of yet? If you haven't, it's available for download (~705 MB) at the game marketplace. The demo was absolutely great and I loved the ending. Leaves me rather anxious for the actual release.

Now, onto my minor rant. I went to GameMania today, which is a local game store, and it seems the Collectors' Edition of TFU2 was sold out already. So, I went to some other locals stores to see if there were any other CEs available, but they didn't even have them available; never did. GameMania would be the only place for such a pre-order, and it seems my chance had passed a while ago already.

Does anybody (who lives in the Netherlands, or perhaps knows of these stores by any chance) know whether it's merely a matter of time before said stores will get them as well, or is null? I'm a type of person who must get the Collectors' Edition if there's one available (given the chance that it's applicable at the time); pretty much for every game or genre that I like, so I'm rather in a stuck position.

And here's a picture of the CE, for the record:

I liked the first one, I wasn't a big fan of the story however, I don't like how they completely discard the original creation of the rebel alliance. I also don't like how Starkiller is 10 times more powerful than Yoda, who has almost 900 years of experience, and Starkiller has like 25 years? I'll still play it though, just because I want to know what happens next. Oh yes, I'm also not happy that they did the "cloning" excuse, which is famous in Star Wars... To me, it is a lame excuse to bring someone back, it was a very nice idea for the Clone Wars, it worked well.

...

I did like the fact that this was the first Star Wars story (that I can think of) without a love story, it is more of a crush story.

Oh yay, another USB drive, because no other gaming company has decided to put those into my house before...

I found the first game to be extremely disappointing. While I'll probably ultimately get the game (probably when it has significantly reduced in price), I can't imagine getting the collector edition.

As for your conundrum, my only suggestion would be to preorder online somewhere.

The demo I found was quite good, wanted me know what happen but I need to wait for like 2 weeks. I figure the 2nd mission where getting Kota and freeing him.

I liked the demo (was kinda sad it was the same level they've showed 1000 times in all the videos)

I just hope they don't fuck up the PC version

Im pretty much in agreement with STALKER here, except for the PC thing, since I will be getting it for 360.

I also don't like how Starkiller is 10 times more powerful than Yoda, who has almost 900 years of experience, and Starkiller has like 25 years?
Yoda was one of the most experienced and powerful force users, yes. But having 900 years of experience does not necessarily mean that one is stronger than the other. Prime example would be Palpatine and Plagueis. While I am aware that Plagueis was killed in his sleep, I doubt he could have beaten Palpatine, regardless of being able to create life or not -- that would require meditation to the extreme at any rate.

I'll still play it though, just because I want to know what happens next. Oh yes, I'm also not happy that they did the "cloning" excuse, which is famous in Star Wars... To me, it is a lame excuse to bring someone back, it was a very nice idea for the Clone Wars, it worked well.

Disagreed. Cloning was an excellent idea to bring Starkiller back. What else could they have made up then, assuming that cloning was not an option? Palpatine cloned himself too, and it went well with the story. Why does Galen Marek not deserve such a chance?

Also, who knows: perhaps the actual Starkiller is alive, somehow, still. I guess SW:TFU2 will show us more, and perhaps, explain what really happened.
I found the first game to be extremely disappointing. While I'll probably ultimately get the game (probably when it has significantly reduced in price), I can't imagine getting the collector edition.

SW:TFU was slightly disappointing yes, but fun nonetheless. I would get the CE if I could; I like the CD box/shell a lot. And the USB stick.

As for your conundrum, my only suggestion would be to preorder online somewhere.

I guess that's an option, I'll consider it.

What I meant was, Starkiller seems too over-exaggerated. The game kind of reminds me of the old Clone Wars cartoon, where you'd have thousands upon thousands of Venators and Acclamators vs all the CIS ships in the battle of Coruscant, it was all there to make everything look more epic than it really was.

Anakin is ten times more powerful than Starkiller, how come Anakin didn't go berserk with the force on Mustafar to kill Obi-wan?

Doesn't matter though, I just don't like where Lucasarts is taking Star Wars, I was fine with the prequels, the sequels, and the old cartoon, but the new Star Wars is annoying me, I hated most of the books too, a lot of it was good but I didn't like the overall story. /rant.
