According to TVGuide.com, the next Stargate movie based on the TV series Atlantis will be called Stargate: Extinction. Unfortunately, there won't be any Elizabeth cameo's.
I think it is safe to say this will have something to do with the Wraith. The Replicator storyline has been done, and finished, and I doubt they're going to 'kill off' these new Asgard so soon after introducing them. The Wraith have been with us since episode one, and the last number of episodes have revolved around them changing and such, so one can assume that it is their extinction that is going to take place.
I agree. On another forum, some thought it could mean the extinction of the Replicators. However, whichever one of those two it ends up being, I don't think it could really be called an extinction. The data and capability to recreate both is back on Atlantis.
may be a opening to SG:U series liek they did with Atlantis.
Could be. Might even be the (attempted?) extinction of life in Pegasus. Either way, they have to elaborate more on that magical engine upgrade. It's the least we deserve!
