The third show in the franchise. Stargate Universe (and has something to do with a '9th Chevron'), though we don't know exactly what yet. What do you guys (and girls) this it'll be about? Personally, I believe it'll be another Galaxy, just as before. They had to use eight chevrons to get to the Pegasus Galaxy, thus, another one chevron, would be another galaxy, would it not? And, I also believe, just as with SG-1 & Atlantis, whoever the 'team' are on this series, within the very first episode, they'll find a brand new enemy. SG-1 found the Goa'uld, and Atlantis had the Wraith. It only makes sense that this new series would do the same. In addition, I've heard that this is suppose to be set in the same time frame as SG-1 & Atlantis, however is not suppose to have anything to do with them... Does this then mean that we wont be seeing any of our famous characters? No Jack O'Neil, no Rodney? etc Am curious with this anyway, personally, I think they should at least have some characters from the other shows involved. Something I 'miss' about Atlantis, is the Jaffa. It would be a pretty neat sight to see some Jaffa going up against the Wraith, or maybe, a few Ha'tak taking on a Wraith Hive Ship. But we don't get to see that, and I doubt we ever will. I know they're from different galaxies, but you'd think the Jaffa could lend a hand on the odd occasion..

no the eighth chevron is for different galaxies e.g ori galaxy and the asgaurds one the 9th chevron may be time travel or something else.

I always thought that the eight chevron was the local galaxy group, where as a ninth one was to a more distant galaxy rather than the other suggestions of time travel and alternate dimensions

Not sure but need to get in the mind of the writers, Traveling to anouther galaxy... its been done and some might see that as a rip off of Atlantis.

anouther point in time not sure how they could make a whole series out of that, anouther dimension is a possibility though

Well with the name universe I would have to say that it would be a diffrent reality. It would be a whole "new Universe" This way they could bring back the guald as the main enemies.
