Well, I guess I'll just get right to it. Whenever I try to start AA, the game plainly doesn't start. My computer does it's processes for a second.....then nothing. The game doesn't even show up as "not responding". That said, I vaguely remember in an older version that you had to delete something for it to work. Is that the case here? Or have they resolved that problem and a new one has arose. Pentium IV @ 3.0 1 gb of memory ATI Radeon Mobility 9700 @ 128 Alienware - Buy it, you'll like it.

I downloaded the 2.3 version from one of the sites listed on the Official site. Of course, I have no way of checking ot make sure it is not a beta or whatever because I cannot even load the game as of yet. I've reinstalled multiple times btw.

Go to " aa.filefront.com " and download the full version of AA from there. Chances are the download u DL's was defective, or you DL the wrong version. If the size of the DL was about 760 MB, then that wasnt the patch.

I downloaded the newest version, I know that for sure. I've also downloaded another copy of the same file and tried that also, no go. I have winxp home edition. I can't install an earlier version and upgrade either because it is reading some random file from 2.3 on here and it won't let me install vanguard. Honestly, I have no idea why this isn't working. I even uninstalled my virus software to make sure it wasn't causing problems like it can. Just about ready to boot America's Army out the window if it weren't for the fact that I'm in the Army.
