EVE Online. Closest thing I've ever seen to a Privateer Online.

UO was good back in the day, but it jumped the shark around LBR's revenge. Sony ruined SWG with the so-called Combat "Upgrade".

Definitely EVE.

Priston Tale. until it became P2P. now i think of it, the concept of PT wasnt good at all, mostly hack n slash with lame quests but there was just something fun about it. probly cos i was in a fun guild and bet a lotta people. :)

I tried a bunch of the more popular MMORPGs, and of all of them I preferred Everquest 2. But I didn't really get into it very much.

And Star Wars Galaxies was ruined the second it hit the shelves, anything they did to it afterwards was just adding insult to injury ;).

WoW - Its addicting, and unlike other mmo's it has tons of lore that revolves around the warcraft series itself.

Guild Wars - Its a very good game, though it gets boring after awhile. I kind of dislike everything being instanced. But that has its good and bad points.
