MrFancypantsTie Fighter I still play some of those sometimes :)
I would love to be able to play that still. I have the original on CD but it won't run on XP. I loved that game more than I loved my Mother.

5 classics eh? Well, here's my five:
5) C & C - it started off a whole series, got me into RTS games, and the singleplayer was just fun as hell to play
4) Deus Ex - So much choice, so much gameplay, so much fun in one game! Probably my all time favourite game, Deus Ex is a true example of a brilliant game.
3) Half-Life - Could have been second in my list, but naa. Half-life was great. truly great. The singleplayer was amazing, and the singleplayer mods created for it made it unbelievable. Plus it spawned Counter-strike, an original and great online mod.
2) Doom - The original Doom was another amazing game. It took the idea of aliens, weapons, explosive barrels, slime and secrets in levels, mixed 'em together, and spat out a game that is great and enjoyable. A truly brilliant frag 'em up.
1) Sonic the Hedgehog - Sonic rules. This game got me hooked on computer games when I was young, and was a brilliant concept and a brilliant game.
i have supermario(the reallllly old one) and that guy who digs-a-lot :Pimp:
anyone got the old Link game? :p :KTA:
AzHI would love to be able to play that still. I have the original on CD but it won't run on XP. I loved that game more than I loved my Mother.
I just reinstalled X-wing Alliance the other day, and if you have that there's supposedly a TIE Fighter partial Total Conversion (what a contradiction, "partial total"), but it's supposed to convert the first half of the game, or something like that. You need your TIE Fighter disc to use it, though, which is why I haven't tried it yet. Need to find that...
Anyway, are we talking PC games here?
Rebel Assault II Shadows of the Empire Number Munchers!! :p Dark Forces Hmm... Four... need five...

Meh, can't think of one. You guys named all the good ones ;)
5) C & C - it started off a whole series, got me into RTS games, and the singleplayer was just fun as hell to play
I actually got Red Alert before CnC. Preferred RA too. But CnC still ranks as a classic.
4) Deus Ex - So much choice, so much gameplay, so much fun in one game! Probably my all time favourite game, Deus Ex is a true example of a brilliant game.
Played it. I think I own it. But I never really got into it.
3) Half-Life - Could have been second in my list, but naa. Half-life was great. truly great. The singleplayer was amazing, and the singleplayer mods created for it made it unbelievable. Plus it spawned Counter-strike, an original and great online mod.
A bit like Deux Ex. Never really was bitten by this.
2) Doom - The original Doom was another amazing game. It took the idea of aliens, weapons, explosive barrels, slime and secrets in levels, mixed 'em together, and spat out a game that is great and enjoyable. A truly brilliant frag 'em up.
I remember Doom, but before that the original Castle Wolfenstein. Then Quake and Duke Nukem.
1) Sonic the Hedgehog - Sonic rules. This game got me hooked on computer games when I was young, and was a brilliant concept and a brilliant game.
