So we are going to play the sith empire time....tho while reading the official page: http://www.swtor.com/info/story/setting

I found this in the FAQ section: Star Wars: The Old Republic takes place approximately three hundred years after the events of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (KOTOR). At the conclusion of the Jedi Civil War in KOTOR, Revan disappeared into unknown space in search of a great threat to the Republic, an expanding Sith Empire led by a mysterious Emperor who planned vengeance for his ancient Jedi enemies. Revan never returned from unknown space, but the Sith Empire did, kicking off a war with the Republic that lasted for decades. Now, despite the uneasy truce created by the Treaty of Coruscant, the tension among the divided star systems is threatening to once again tear the galaxy apart.

Hmm... so i guess with this said, Revan and the Exile died in trying to stop the sith empire, or they did stoped em, but not for long....

Idk...some how, while this being a MMOPG...it dosent seem too exiting XD i was hoping to see again Revan, the Exile or at least HK and T-3!

Post ur opinions. :)

Seems a bit odd for it to be a MMOPG. And I too would like to see Revan or the Exile again. I'm sure it'll be good, though. Lucas Arts have never failed me before, and they did a great job with The Force Unleashed. I'm sure there is nothing to worry about. But, we'll just have to wait and see.

Meh, I just hope they don't ruin this game like they did with Star Wars: AGD. jk, I actually hope that I can play this without stopping for 3 weeks straight after it comes out. :D And you never know, maybe you will find hk or t3. That would be awsome.

Considering how much they've hinted at that so far, I wouldn't be surprised.

HK-47 has already been "confirmed" in the webdoc. This is pretty much what he stated:

... Even though most of the character's have died in either natural, or unnatural ways the droid's don't age.

I'm excited because, knowing Bioware, they'll keep their promise about making it story oriented. I actually think that Revan and the Exile suceeded, but were either frozen down, or sacrificed themselves to keep the Sith Empire in the Unknown Regions until the Republic was strong enough. I bet they'll appear as quest givers.

Hmm, wouldn't that be cool if they were frozen in carbonite like Han, and maybe survived for 300 years. Meh, either way, its obvious that they're coming back, either as force ghosts, frozen in carbonite, holograms, or some combonation.

Well, everybody's favourite wise-cracking Assassin droid is in one of the online-posters, and is an avatar on the official forums too. That, and his lifespan goes beyond TOR, and into Galaxies. (Yes, I'm afraid it is canon.)

As for Revan and The Exile's success...... nah. The Republic wasn't strong enough at all. The Sith sacked Coruscant, and the Jedi Temple. For them to have gotten that far, then the Republic wasn't strong enough.
