Hey everyone. I was meandering through the gaming sites today and I found this article about Game Boy dying out on http://www.1up.com . This made me a little bit sad because I grew up with Game Boy and would hate to see it go. Read it and get back to me, I'd love to hear what you guys think. Here is the link to the article: http://www.1up.com/do/feature?cId=3141966

well, it was bound to happen sometime. The game has been around for a long time, so it had a good run and it Looks like nintendo's ideas for different types of game boys has hit rock bottom. Good thing we still have PSP, though i shall miss the game boy for i also grew up with it and it was my first handheld console.

Considering the technology is about 17 years old or so, why would anyone want to buy something that huge, old, and slow? Even the smallest of processors, ones that work inside a microwave, for instance, probably has more processing power than the one inside the Original Nintendo. People asked for a portable gaming system, Nintendo gave them the Game Boy, Then The Game Boy Pocket, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance and so on. Game Boy is still a huge market.

I used to have the orignial Game Boy, the limited edition ice colored Game Boy pocket, I still have the pokemon version, and I have Game Boy advance. So, I am a big Game Boy fan. I would hate to see the system go, but everything's got to go sometime.

Do they still make games for Super Nintendo? In my opinion, that is the best system.

Of course not. That system is old. You can buy it for $30.
