Tim willits himself stated that, that trailer was ingame. Along with various other footage from the press conference of E3 08.

They can call it in-game, but it is likely a pre-rendered CUT SCENE. Strictly speaking, that would still be in the game, but that is almost certainly not what the game is going to actually look like when you are controlling your character.

I don't care if it's in-game, it still looks ridiculously fake. Everything looks brown and made of plastic. It's ugly.

Erm, no... *sigh* here we go again, watch this. It's getting tiresome proving all of you wrong. And seinfield, i really hope your joking.

Neither does the nervous system of the human spine.

Made of brown plastic. Developers either overdo it, or they don't do it enough. There's a fine line between realistic colors, and fantasy colors(Crysis). A line which no game has managed to properly balance on. [QUOTE=bud389;4940682] It's getting tiresome proving all of you wrong.

To be honest, for a racing game, that doesn't seem very convincing. If you're going to compare early pre-release engines, you might aswell compare it to the first engine demo of the Unreal 3.5 Engine.

Yea, your right, by Q2 2010 Rage will look much better and more refined then how it looks now. I'm just worried about what it will look like on the 360, because of compression and everything. Tim Willits said that an uncompressed version of RAGE is 1 terrabyte in size.
