Monkey Island?! That is a wierd name for a game. Oh, and guess what else? I'm not the only 13 year old on GF anymore! Yay! Name: Centipede Difficulty: Easy at first, but then it gets extremely hard. Reasons: More bugs, bigger centipedes, no place to hide. Advice: Just keep trying, don't give up. If that doesn't work, put in cheats!! Beaten: Yes, more than once.

I really enjoyed Monkey Island. I just wish the sword fights were longer.

Pirate 1 - Pirate 2You fight like a cow. - You mean like the legendary Swordsman, John Cow!?

Your swordplay stinks. - It must be because of that rotten blade your using.

If I had a penny for the number of times I could have beaten you by now,... - You'd owe me a dollar.

You can't win! Give up! - You fight like a cow.

If I had a penny for the number of times I could have beaten you by now,... - You fight like a cow.

Haha! I win. - How could I loose?? I was leading 3 - 2.

Cool game.

Oh, almost forgot, my game.

Name: Street Legal (Street Racing, car tuning) Difficulty: easy, or very hard. Reasons: Insane paths through crowded city street, will leave your car in pieces (literally). The cost to repair the damage can get pretty high. Advice: Turn down, or disable the traffic, and remember to set your race paths. This is more difficult when cops are chasing you. Beaten: Yes.

Its a cool game, for a $10 Activision Value game. The damage is dynamic. Similar to Red Faction, and Bridge Commander. Except the fenders are bent, instead of being replaced by a random shape. Car tuning is pretty cool, you can take apart the engine, and rebuild it. Correction, you have to take the engine apart, and rebuild it, or just buy a new car. Select Tires, Rims, Spoilers, Bumpers, Side Skirts, Exhaust Pipes, and more. Applying decals could have been done better. Unlike Underground, you can literally make any kind of paintjob you want (with the patches). Unfortunately, the paint, or textures turn low res, on certain parts of the car. Ruining the image. That and the freeze frames when a crash occurs (up to 15 seconds on slower machines), must be the reason this game was released as a value title. It almost could compete with NFS: Underground, if it was more polished. Many bugs were fixed, and the speed was improved with subsequent patches (100+mb total), but saved games were rendered incompatible. Regular city cars also began to take damage.

Like I said, a cool game, but it may not be for everyone. Especially without the patches.

The coolest thing, is the seeing how bad the car looks, after a major reck.

Solar JetMan (NES) Difficulty: Hard. Very hard, but not insane. Reasons: Getting the parts you need is extremely hard, especially when it's rather hard to control your little ship (controls can be somewhat unresponsive) and some of the parts are in a very narrow space. Bouncing off the walls alone can kill you. Not to mention for a lot of the parts, you're getting fired at at the same time. As well as the fact that if you're hit, you end up dropping the part and you have to fly back down and retrieve it. Advice: Aside from avoid hitting walls like the plague? None really. Beaten: Never. I got fairly far on my own, but getting one part was torture, as I kept dying there Quoted from Mei

ForceName: Mortal Kombat Deception Difficulty: Throw controller against wall Reason: When you get far into conquest mode the training session things to learn new moves become nearly impossible. Advice: When you have to fight Tanya, just keep doing the same punch/kick or w/e it was on her, fighting normally with moves and stuff is nearly impossible. Beaten: Yes, couldn't believe it.

I never found it too hard

but when I got to Tanya I nearly snapped

Or some of those side quests where you have to kill the enemy and have half health and losing it every second

Name: Aliens Versus Predator Difficulty: Well, it was the biggest criticism anybody had over it. Pretty tough. The easiest difficulty level is roughly as hard as the hardest difficulty level of most games. Reason: More realistic damage is received from attacks, especially so when playing as an Alien -- you literally crack apart when under fire. The way is rarely clear, and, again, as an Alien you will find yourself rarely touching the floor. AI surprisingly good. Puzzles galore. Facing-off against Predators and surviving is something to write home about. Originally didn't even have a save function, 'Gold' edition introduced a limited amount of saving opportunities, but the harder the difficulty level, the fewer you have, and you must use them wisely. Advice: Screaming won't help, as nobody can hear it in space. As a Marine, pay attention to your motion tracker and use flares over night vision whenever possible so that you can always keep an eye on it. Try to keep your enemies at a long range, as you are better than either Predators or Aliens at long range. You have a large arsenal of weapons, but without ammo you will definitely die. Always be on the lookout for health, armour and ammo, and make a note of their location if you don't need them at the time, so that you can go back for them later if you need to. Marines are not the fastest species, nor are they the most durable, so keeping a distance is even more important. When fighting other Marines, move around a lot and keep your distance. Moderately powerful weapons will suffice. When fighting Aliens, rapid-fire weapons are ideal, as you will rarely encounter them alone. Tracking weapons or flamethrowers are particularly useful -- though a pulse rifle grenade in the centre of a group will suffice. Above all else, keep as far away as you can. Aliens are very fast, so you won't have much time to take them all out. When fighting Predators, use extremely powerful weapons to penetrate their armour -- the Minigun or SADAR help with this. As an Alien, stick to the dark and take advantage of your wall-walking -- never touch the ground if you can help it. If you are sneaking up on a group too large to take out quickly, try snarling at them and moving around -- the AI get scared, and if they can't see you, but they can hear you, they will often split up. You lack durability, so make your attacks blisteringly fast. You lack range, so keep hidden and only reveal yourself at close range. AVOID OPEN SPACES AT ALL COSTS, OR YOU WILL DEFINITELY DIE -- STICK TO CLOSE-QUARTERS. Aliens are blisteringly fast -- use it. Also, do not be afraid to retreat to places Predators and humans can't reach, as you aren't durable enough for heroics. When fighting other Aliens, you will basically be circling, darting around and trying to attack and then withdraw quickly to avoid counter-attack. When fighting Marines, it is best to approach from a strange angle (on the walls or ceilings) and keep to the dark -- Marines rely on visible light to see, unlike Aliens or Predators. Stay in the dark and they are less likely to see you. Marines have the most powerful weapons of all, and Aliens have the lowest health, so it's best to attack from behind. If they see you, run away and find another way to get to them. When fighting Predators, you have to be quick and decisive. One wrong move and you are dead. It is very hard to sneak up on a Predator, as they can see you with their vision modes, so get as close as you can, and then run at them. Try to use your speed to keep behind them, and slash at them until they are dead. As a Predator, your ammunition is scarce, so either be a good shot or try to sneak up and use melee insta-kills whenever possible -- cloaking and stealth is highly advantageous, but cloaking will drain your energy fast. Take advantage of vision modes and learn to use them dynamically as the situation changes -- remember that only one species will be visible in each vision mode, others will be virtually invisible! Your weapons are highly specialised, make sure you use the right ones for the right jobs. Keep an eye on your energy levels and ammunition, as without these you will be left with melee only, which will only make it even more difficult than it already is. Predators have the strongest armour, but don't get over-confident, as they are far from being unbeatable. Marines at long range will destroy you, as will Aliens at close range. Keep out of sight, and at mid-range. Your growling will scare AI as well, but not as much as that of an Alien. When fighting other Predators, cloaking will not matter -- they can see you regardless. Use your most powerful weapons and try to use your moderate speed to dodge theirs. Such conflicts are often more down to luck than anything else, though. When fighting Aliens, either the shoulder cannon or the disk are good weapons. If you run out of energy/ammo, you must use your wristblades. These do not attack as quickly as Alien claws, so you must make sure they go down with the first blow. Again, cloaking is useless when fighting Aliens, and only serves to drain energy. When fighting Marines, use stealth. They can wipe you out at long range, so make sure they never get the chance. Keep cloaked, try not to move when they are looking directly at you, and keep to the shadows. Taking them out from behind with wristblades is always preferable. Sniping with the speargun is also a good way of doing things, though IIRC this decloaks you, so try not to do this if surrounded. Otherwise, shoulder cannon or disk will suffice. With all species, observe your surroundings before moving anywhere, as the way to go isn't always obvious and will require some thought. You may also notice dangers which may be hard to spot initially -- gun turrets in the shadows, most often. Beaten: Yes, but only on the first two difficulty levels. Most of the game and a few bonus missions finished on maximum difficulty.

Eagle OneName: FarCry, PC Difficulty: throw controller/mouse against wall Reasons: It was so hard it was pathetic, when i first seen the game i thought its graphics where beautiful (especially for the time when it was realised) and i thought wow. Until i got up to a part in the game where all these stupid retarded mutants jump at you at the speed of sound and slice you dead. Not to mension it took nearly a whole magazine of M4 to kill one. Then i never got up to the end but apparently they come back, invisible, with rocket launches which is just a joke. Advice: Dont get it its shit Beaten: No

Now that ladies and gentlemen is a genuine n00b.

Yes the AI is very good but no so good that you cant finish the game, even i beat it!

Its called AIM FOR THE HEAD, and for the "Trigens" fire bursts, man i found it easy to gun down the trigens with the fucking pistol!

That is really sad, just because you cant beat it does not mean you should advise people to not buy it, a challenge is rare in most games nowadays.

As for me, im to lazy to type a full thing in format right now but i will say that Mafia in certain points was kinda difficult, a fact contributing to this is that i rarely play 3rd person shooters though...
