Does this game finally have a built-in racial slur button? If it doesn't have that, I'm not buying.

WW2 or modern times. Both have been over done. When CoD moves into medieval times, or even into civil wars, then i'll be interested! :D

I can't say I agree at all Smeg. There's still some aspects of even WWII that have not been fully tapped, like resistance fighting forces. Modern Warfare hasn't NEARLY begun to be utilized, and since it's an ongoing thing with ever changing news in the real world, I don't see how it could be exhausted unless one is not interested in shooters or keeping up on modern day events anymore.

The part where I really am split though is in your saying it would be better to move to medieval times. First off, CoD is a more modern miltiary term referring to wars fought with guns, and CoD has always been a franchise built around that kind of warfare. Reverting to medieval times would turn it into a common RPG. The medieval RPG genre has been done to death more than any other.

I wouldn't mind near future content, as long as it keeps a certain amount of story, tactic and gear related to current day. When games get too sci fi, esp ones that originate from depicting real world events, I start getting less and less interested.
