Master Chief 14Most likely it would be Halo 3.
Or it could be Splinter Cell 4. ;)
of course sales are in the shitter, thats where all the games are ;)
Haven't bought anything simply because there is nothing to buy for PC. Hopefully a modded PS2 will rectify this in the upcoming month...
Really? So Quake 4, F.E.A.R. and Serious Sam II were just crap? Damn, I must be a cultureless, twitching freak.
(I will admit, the expansion for Doom 3 (RoE) and Dawn of War (Winter Assault) were both quite buggy. Well, WA was, and there's hardly any support for Ressurection of Evil.)
-Worker, overall.
How about... FEAr, Bf2, Cod2, Axis and allies, Empire earth 2, many more I cant name.
^^^ Knew I'd missed a few. Yeah, I know you folks have no less right to your own opinion than I do, but saying that altogether 2005 was a fresh steaming turd of a year for PC gaming may have been a little much. Again, that's my opinion.
To shy away from a shouting match, what exactly- on a specific game-to-game basis- did the games you've tossed in the gutter (or would have) elicit your negative opinions? I'd like to hear what you thought about some of this year's games, even if each and every one of them turned sour for you.

Killer400 I agree with you except Axis and Allies, that was just another shitty rts ww2 game.
2006 looks like it will be a grim year for PC gaming. All the most anticipated titles that gamers had been waiting on for years are now released. There is almost nothing left to look forward to in the near future. The few games that do look interesting to me are Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Shadows of Chernobyl, and Fallout 3.
How about HL2: Aftermath? Or another Warhammer: DoW expansion? I admit that I'm not looking forward to a whole lot of games in particular, true, but hopefully more news on the gaming front when we head into January may rekindle your hopes, Raptor.
For now, I'm still, er, experimenting with F.E.A.R. (early Xmas prez) and haven't gotten all that far into it, but I have enjoyed what of it I've seen and played. Quake 4 is a blast but most of what I've played has been multiplayer games (as opposed to the single-player campaign).

I don't have the hardware to run F.E.A.R.. I shouldn't have to buy a gig of RAM just to play a fucking game. My computer isn't THAT old. They lost a sale to Quake IV here. I'm not going to buy any more products from Valve either. I was disappointed with HL2, and Steam is crap. This says it all:
