HI, I'm new at this but I'm desperate for any help I can get on fixing the problem I'm having while playing Vietcong Fist Alpha (multiplayer). While in game my system starts to lag at times and then slows down, my fps goes from 5 to 45 depending on what map I'm playing. I don't have this problem in other multiplayer games, just this one. This belongs in the General Gaming forum.

To answer your question, it could be your processor speed or your video card.

That's odd, it should run just fine with that computer, mine is slower and runs smoothly. Have you tried searching for spyware?

Hope you don't mind me tagging along on this thread, as I have a question related to Fist Alpha single player.

Mine came with Vietcong Purple Haze, but I think it's the same as the separate expansion. The prob I'm having is on the mission where you have to carefully use stealth to get to a radio, by going through two batteries of guarded flak guns. Even the walkthrough I read on it says your stuck with a VERY hard trial and error method, even if you find a good spot to shoot them from, and that no cheats help. I've followed his advice on a spot to get to, but they sound the alarm every time.

Does anyone know how I can make this mission easier, or bypass it? I'm not totally unskilled at stealth stuff, and managed to figure out how to get the guy out of the tiger cage in the night time escape mission, by killing every VC, alerting only 1 of them, whom I shot before he could warn others. In that mission, the AI seemed to suck, compared to this one, especially the guys sitting around the campfire. Thanks in adance for any help, and sorry for the intrusion.
